請到下列網址下載 大新倉頡 的 字碼表:

$mv newcj.txt newcj.cin

重要符號單鍵

* 請修改 %endkey ` 那一行，加上 .,’ 後再用 gcin2tab 轉檔即可。

%endkey `.,’

$sudo gcin2tab newcj.cin
$mv newcj.gtab ~/.gcin/NewCJ.gtab
$sudo gedit /usr/share/gcin/table/gtab.list

把下列這行取代原本的倉頡 1
大新倉頡 1 NewCJ.gtab newcj.png
存檔離開。

選擇 "結束 gcin" ，他會自動重啟。

Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid 要改用 1.5.5~pre15-0~1 -> $sudo apt-get install gcin=1.5.5~pre15-0~1

若是 Ubuntu Lucid 的則為：

deb http://debian.luna.com.tw/lucid ./ deb-src http://debian.luna.com.tw/lucid ./

然後執行 apt-get update 後就能用 apt-get 安裝了。

再來執行 $sudo gcin-setup 來調整各項的設定。

OS: 3.x.x only , 4 NOT Support.

另一個方法是在 Cydia 搜尋 ikeyex 也是會有的，但那是 0.2b 的版本。

NewCJ 安裝說明:

將 newcj.ime 資料夾複製到到 /Library/iKeyEx/InputManagers/ 下即可。

再到 設定 -> iKeyEx 中去組合裡新增輸入法，

即可 看見 newcj 在輸入法的清單供您選擇。

如何安裝 5RowNewCJ KB: (PS. 5-Row QWERTY KB 需要先安裝。)
1. Copy "5RowNewCJ.keyboard"  資料夾到 /Library/iKeyEx/Keyboards/ 下使用 Winscp 或 FileZilla 透過 sftp 模式.
2. 到 設定 -> iKeyEx -> 組合 -> 這個時候，你可以點選 大新倉頡

-> 去變更 鍵盤排列 -> 選 5RowNewCJ 即可-> 再點 新增 回到上頁。

這個時候，就是要測試一下囉! 常用按鍵 ；(分號)  新增成功。
